Kristen leads the Communications and Outreach department within JMU Libraries. The purpose of the Communications and Outreach department is to lead, coordinate, and support communications, marketing, and outreach efforts that promote the JMU Libraries and empower our diverse communities to engage with the Libraries. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to) social media outreach, displays, exhibits, events, programs, graphic design, writing, and editing. This department manages the Libraries’ organizational relationships with University Communications and Marketing, the Division of Student Affairs, the Office of Undergraduate Admissions, and selected other non-academic units.
