Are You Ready for Your Job Search?

Looking for a job or summer internship? Resume writing and job interviewing information? Or perhaps still exploring different career options?

The JMU Libraries has hundreds of books and videos/films, both online and print, to help you through the career decision-making process. These resources describe occupations, employment trends, developing a job search strategy and building your professional network.

With the JMU Campus-Wide Career Fair coming up on February 18 and 19, now is the perfect time to explore the many books and videos in the library!

Search using short words and phrases rather than sentences. Use quotes to search for an exact phrase (e.g. “cover letter”).

Films on Demand: Careers and Job Search

A collection of high-quality streaming educational videos that cover a wide range of topics related to career readiness.

Kanopy: Career Development

On-demand streaming video service with access to films related to preparing for a career.
