Learn More about Disability Studies!

JMU celebrates Disability Awareness Week from March 25 through March 29 this year. Check out the programming coordinated by the Office of Disability Services, including a book display in Rose Library.

Want to learn more about a cultural and social approach to disability? The Disability Studies Minor at JMU “engages students in an examination of the many ways disability is defined and constructed.” Visit the Libraries’ Research Guide on Disability Studies to discover important resources. This guide offers selected databases, books, articles, and links related to Disability Studies. For example, the database Disability in the Modern World collects primary sources on the history of disability.
