MadLab workshops for students

JMU Libraries’ MadLab program offers students diverse opportunities to master media literacy and fluency through the creation of multimedia and digital stories.

MadLab offers free 1-2 hour workshops taught by JMU peer instructors in an open “un-classroom” environment in Carrier and Rose Libraries.

MadLab programs are designed to support students in leveraging technology to express themselves and their ideas using platforms, tools, and digital media relevant to their digital projects. MadLab empowers students to become innovative designers and creative communicators through multimedia creation and the use of digital storytelling tools to become engaged digital citizens and meaningful content creators.
